Mcintire Injury question

Hi coach! racing IM CDA next month and ive developed hamstring tendonosis. Doing PT, rolling, and stretching. Did a 10 mile run (against physical therapist advice) on sunday and it felt like crap and was slow. I can ride and swim without discomfort, so my thought was to rest from the run for a couple weeks and continue the above treatments. My bike and swim are doing great right now, so I was just going to focus on making those as strong as possible. Any thoughts?

  • Yep, great plan. Ask if ou can aquajog -- that might be an option. For now I suggest you follow our normal no running back: FTP bikes on Tuesday and Thursday nd then the weekend rides. Then you get to swim on Monday Wednesday Friday.
