power reading on Quarq riken

I have posted things in the gear forum but thought maybe someone here might have some insight:

I have a quarq riken and have been very happy with it.  However, I changed the battery last night and now my power levels are crazy low like in the 20's and 30's even though I feel like I'm going hard.  I did a manual zero procedure according to the manual and it said the calibration was successful, but I'm still getting really low power levels.  Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?  Thanks!

I'm getting a little worried that I can't fix this problem as I am pushing up my bike camp up a day and I'm starting on Thurs.

  • Call Quarq. They are very easy to get and they will help.

  • Moving this to the Power forum, where more will see it.
  • Had the same issue and talked with the guys at Quarq. Take out the battery, place two pennies in thier place and place the cap back on. Wait a minute, take them out and put in a new battery. It resets the PM. Worked great for me. hope that helps.
