First race of 2014

Hi Patrick-

I have my first race on Sunday. It's an olympic distance here in MN. I did a 80 ride yesterday (Monday) and a 55 minute run today (Tuesday). I'm planning on swimming tomorrow and Friday. How else should I tweak my workouts before I race?

  • Kyle - can you tell me what current plan you are in? Ability level and week would also be good. If you are the midst of another plan to meet generally don't taper very much for a short course race other than the last two days. Let me know!

    Kyle, what's up man!?!!? Let's have you do the RDP right now until we feel comfortable with your baseline. Then you can bounce to the INT OS Plan before a quick move to the Half (best option for Alcatraz). We exit that with a break before entering the FULL plan!!!
