Opinion on female cyclist
This is really more of a share but also looking to give a patient of mine some advice.
I have a female patient that is a Cat 1-2 rider (mid-30's with 3 kids) and I've loaned her my PT (36 spoke Mavic Open Pro) to train and race with. She is 150 lbs and in her last race she won. I downloaded and looked at the data and it just kills me:
Entire ride duration: 2:09:xx
Entire ride Norm Watts: 289
5' max 387
Her watts/kg: 4.35+ based upon 20 min @ 95%
She attacked on lap 2 of 3 on a hill and took 2 women with her. She attacked again on the same hill during the last lap, dropped them and held of the group for the last mile and won. Get this...she trains primarily as a spin instructor!!! YIKES. What amazing ability.
So she wins on a bike that is too large for her in a position that isn't correct and with a wheelset that weighs a ton compared to what she is competing against. Just had to share.

Teaching spin is no joke.
Local friends of mine owns a spin studio. 2-3yrs ago I was doing a camp on the Wildflower course with some friends and we did the ride through Fort Hunter Liggett to the coast. Includes about a 6-7 mile, 6% pitch to the top of the coastal range before dropping down to the coast. Brandon's (spin guy) first ride outside in like 6mo and he weighs about 190lb. He just rode away from me, chatting with a 135lb guy as I drilled myself to catch him.
Ride was 105mi total, and he struggled towards the end, by no doubt that his many interval sessions per week built him some solid fitness.
It's called genetics...

She just raced and had her chain drop inboard and spent 7 mins digging it out as it lodged itself in (according to the powertap download). Then she TT'd for 40 miles solo and caught the lead pack then still generated over 700 watts in an effort to get 6th.
She races for Touchstone and by all accounts it's her 5' watts/kg that just dusts others.

All this, and her testosterone is probably less than 50 (for sure less than 100)
