  • Well thanks to road rash and a still dinged up knee exercise has been at a minimum. This week is going to be my first full week back in the saddle. I'm looking forward to it. Weight on Monday morning was 217.6 which I was bummed about. It's nice to still be losing during low exercise periods. I'm hoping to get a big boost from activity in the weight loss department the next few weeks. Traditionally 214 is a plateau weight for me..... hopefully not this time.

Today I did my cycling power test.... what a joke. Let's just summarize and say lots of kg and low watts is a major bummer. I know both are going to go the right direction though, and that is a relief. When I do a metric update other than weight, I will include some w/kg data too.

  • Anthony, I just finished a team weight loss challenge and it was fun and I ended up one pound from my goal...the cruise did me in! Now I just joined an online diet bet site called dietbetter.com which I found in Triathlete magazine. The one I joined is Ashley's Diet Bet and starts on 7 July.

I tell you this because it seems like a great way to put a bit of skin in the game, get more support, and maybe even lose a few pounds and win a few bucks. There are bets from $10 to $100 lasting four weeks to six months. The four week ones are four percent in four weeks.- that's what I'm doing.

Think about checking it out and good luck with your journey!
