Just rattled

So, I've been through both the nov OS (a bit inconsistent) and a solid February OS. I'm in week 19 of HIM and either mentally rattled, a bit worn down, or both. Last week I was away on travel but got a few dreadmill runs at the hotel, and my RR's have been good to this point and bike tests have been climbing. Having only 10 days before the Patriot Half I'm definitely feeling the "can't fade now, damnit" thing creeping in. Runs are good but Ive been feeling a bit weaker on the bike. I added a couple of recovery days in the past couple of weeks to settle back in, and I'm hoping it's all just a long training stretch having its way with me. Struggling a bit this week but hoping that big base will save the day...any bits of brilliant advice???

  • Swim only this week. Just chill you have done a ton of work and it's not going anywhere. Sat is an easy 60' spin and an easy 30' run. Then Sunday off...and we pick up taper week from there. Use the extra time to dial in your race plan repercussions and watch the calories while the training is swim only. Chill now and we get in the groove to close it out!! :)
  • Got it...thx coach. Maybe even a venture into open water..unless winter comes back this week...lol
