JUNE GF

Any other lonely souls out there who've dropped in to the GF program -- early summer edition? Let me hear ya?!?

I'm exactly one month post IM, and feeling great. Did my first swim TT and felt strong. Looking forward to my bike test tomorrow. Bring on the pain. 

I was able to bang out 1,000 yards avg about 1:40 per hundred. My goal is to get it down in the 1:30's before I start my late season HIM build.

  • I too am easing into the GF plan after a very successful, 4-week block of the Get Fatter plan.  To celebrate, I just wasted $95 by signing up for a local sprint this Saturday.  I plan on donating some pride, but I do get to come home with a little humuliation and a lot of motivation.
  • I'm in the last few weeks of GF. The mile intervals at 5k pace last week were really fun. This week it was just 4 X1 at TP. Heading out for VO2 intervals later today.
    About 14 weeks to Chattanooga and I'm ancy to get into the ironman plan but just telling myself this is my last best opportunity to get a pop in my run speed and FTP.
    Remaining patient until 12 weeks to go.
