How to Hack the Plan this week

Hi Coach Patrick,

I am recovering from EN Camp and plan to swim today and do light bike/run tomorrow. I am racing Syracuse this weekend so how

should I approach Thursday, Friday, Saturday? Thinking that long run will be done Sunday and not Thursday. I will do a recon ride in Syracuse on Friday followed by a light run. Saturday morning I plan to swim and then check bike. Rest remainder of day.

I guess I am just not clear on what to do Thursday. Please clarify for me.

  • Mary - I suggest you swim on Thursday as well, somewhere in the neighborhood of about 2000 total yards. Be sure to scope out the Syracuse course before you head out there so you pick the best place to ride the bike and get ready!! Exciting!!
