I meant to post this last week, but an unexpected visit from the stomach flu knocked me out this week. The only saving grace is that this was a testing week in wk 12 of the HIM plan. I move from the GF block to wk 10 of the HIM Beg plan with a bump to my bike and run zons. I am having difficulty with the new run pace (Z2 7:48). I cannot maintain the paces written on the Thursday long run. I can maintain it for the first half, but I am +1:00 off of my pace during the second half. Do you suggest making any adjustments or to keep adjusting to the new paces?
I can maintain pacing for all of the other run work outs, but am struggling with the added distance/time since moving to the HIM plan. Mind that even though I missed my pacing, I still dropped 45 min off of my 13.1 time.
