Coach P&R:

My "A" HIM race is 9/8

I have vacation in July so I can't race during that timeframe.  There is an OLY/HIM on 8/16 would you recommend I race one of these, if so which dist would you recommend?  (Note:  I haven't raced yet this year in a tri).

Yes, that's fine. Prefer you race the HIM option and that can serve as a race rehearsal for your A race on 9/8. Good luck!
