Steve Blackburn Season Plan Macro Thread

Hi Rich.

Back in November you structured my season plan leading into Ironman Austria.  I had also indicated back then that I've signed up for Ironman Wisconsin 2014 too, and you said in your Plan reply that we'd talk about the rest of the season after I'd finished Austria.

I finished IM Austria on 6/29 with a time of 13:29:02.  That is a significant improvement over my finish time in IM Texas last year (roughly 15:49ish), which is attributable in part to the fact that air temps for IM Austria were ideal and 20 degrees cooler than Texas (mid to upper 70s), and I didn't get food poisoning two days before the race like I did in Texas.  Plus I think I was better trained this time. The courses themselves are actually fairly similar, though I would rate Austria's bike course as easier/faster.

So, here we are.  I'm looking for your feedback on how to structure a plan between now and IMWI.  Let me know what, if any, additional info you need from me.

Thanks!

Steve
