George's Race Rehearsal Hack

I am in week 15 (intermediate) as I get ready for IMMT and see that I will have only Sunday to do RR#1.  No Fri, Sat, or Mon to split the swim.  And, no follow-up long run as the plan rx. So how should I hack the plan?  Move the RR to the following weekend which is open so far?

BTW my PF is doing better as long as I don't push a hard pace (i.e. I just run and focus on stride and not on pace) and do back to back day road runs.  I am still alternating water runs, treadmill, trails, and road runs.

  • George I'll take steady / minimal pain vs the alternative. Nice!! I know you just rode in the mountains for three days so you don't have to do camp week. I would try to get in a long run on Thursday (as best you can) in the 90-120 range. Friday swim or off. Saturday, swim if Friday was off (or off is you swam Friday), then Sunday as planned RR. Monday off and then back at it!!
