Chris S Micro Thread

I am currently in week 10 of Intermediate Ironman plan, and due to Work schedule (16hr Shift Tuesday and Friday), I am finding it hard to get in the Run/Swim on Tuesday and Friday. Could I possible swap workouts on Monday for Tuesday (off monday). And where could I move the Friday Swim to? Thinking Thursday PM swim( off Thursday) or possibly to weekend.  Trying give me the best possibly for rest/recuperation, at my work, I am standing for most of the 16hrs.

  • I think your plan is good...only that putting Sat+Sun+Tuesday workout will be really tough. If I had my way you'd do the swim on Monday AM, run Monday PM and then work Tues. Wed as planned. Thursday run AM and then do the swim on Thurs PM (liberal use of pull buoy, no paddles, to rest the legs)...deal?
