understanding my training plan

Hi, I'm doing week 4 of the balanced, int. 1/2 marathon plan.  A little confused on this Saturday's 90 min run.

  • it says 3/7 as miles at goal pace plus 30 seconds, than 7 miles at goal pace minus 5 sec. I'm not sure what the 3/7 means? Thanks Steve
  • Ah!! Typo! 3/7 is 3 miles then 7 miles. This will help to practice a smart start. First three miles are done comservatively and then the main seven are done at your target pace. This allows you to feel what race they will be like without the full physical cost.
