Bike fram race sticker

Not really sure where to post this so I'll try here.

Is the location of the frame sticker in the following picture acceptable?

Thanks!

  • Looks good to me. Good luck!
  • Great, thanks! I thought it was OK but wanted to get a second opinion.
  • Nice bike. I ride a felt too and love it!
  • That looks great, but don't be afraid to use scissors. I always trim mine and make two stickers for each side of the down tube.
  • I trim the sticker to its bare minimum.
  • I've just started to trim the bike number down to just the number.. As long as you don't mutilate the number and make it un-readable you should be fine.. Although.. A USAT official could take the rule to an extreme and spank you for trimming it down for display on the bike if they really had a bug up your their butt.

The only time I've seen this rule enforced is when participants didn't have their number on the run, lose it/throw it away on the run or were carrying it in the hand on the run because it was torn or all messed up from being abused during the run.

    The USAT Rules States:

3.4f. Race Numbers. Participants shall plainly display their race numbers at all times, and shall maintain the race number in an unaltered, unobstructed and readable state at the start and finish gates, in the transition areas, and on the course. Any violation of this Section shall result in a variable time penalty.

  • Thanks for the input everyone. It worked out well the way I had it positioned there. Good to know that some trimming is OK as well.

@Chris C, I've been real happy with the Felt too, great bike.
