texas replacing tremblant as north american championship

per the recent WTC announcement, texas is replacing tremblant in 2015 for the north American championship for full iron.

do they really mean 2016 because texas for 2015 still has just the 50 slots ??? I assume texas would then get 75 slots.

when is texas moving to a different time of the year ???

Texas was the N.A. Championship in 2011 as well. I think it was in St. George in 2012 and the last two years in MT.

My guess is they will shuffle 25 more spots over to IMTX soon.

IMTX doesn't move to April until the second year of the new contract (2017).

Texas is on my long range planning calendar for 22 April 2017. It would be really nice if it was the NA Championship then but highly unlikely now. I am always behind the power curve (in more ways than one). I am hoping fewer people will be go to Texas in 2017 since they will be training through the winter.

I'm with Paul. I may come out of my Ironman semi-retirement on 04/22/2017.
