Here is the link to the Visitors to Canada page on the Canada Border Services Agency internet site, it outlines much of the information that foreign nationals need to know to prepare to enter the country. Yes, I work for them. No, I can't help you skip the line or get out of paying duties and taxes.
There is info here on bringing food into the country, limitations related to alcohol, and how to declare gifts, etc.
