Woz TSR thread

Rich,

Thanks for the TSR - yep, it's a long road to Vineman next summer, but I'm definitely planning on filling in with intermediate events to mix it up, create some shorter term goals and keep things fun.

One question for now:  how does the out season plan typically work in other activities like those I mentioned in my TSR summary - e.g., snowboarding or snowshoeing?  Just curious as I look ahead to potential events (like a snowshoe race or two, or just fun stuff).

Thanks,

Woz (like "Oz" but with a W...)

    The way we work is:

    • Understand that the training plan you see in your Training Plan page is "hard coded." That is, if you schedule a 10k for Sunday 1/15, that 10k isn't going to show up on your training plan for that week. Nor are the workouts scheduled for that week going to change to accommodate that 10k. Rather...
    • If you need/want help with modifying your training that week to accommodate that 10k, just start your own thread the Micro Forum (under the Forums tab above).
    • There, you and Patrick have a conversation like "plan says to do A, B, C, but I have a 10k on Sunday. What do I do?" Patrick says "move this there, that here, done."
    • You then bust your number #2 pixel and make those changes yourself vs paying us a lot of money to (1) build a crazy complicated training plan system that enable this stuff to happen automagically and/or (2) go in and make those changes for you. Instead, two guys have a conversation, guidance is delivered, you implement the guidance, done.
