Hey Coach P, 70.3+marathon training

Hey Coach P,

i hope all is well.   so i just received my new season roadmap, Coach Rich told me to ask you if i should lengthen my long runs during the build up to Big George 70.3.   i will be doing the Chicago Marathon and i want Chicago to be the A race.    I'm starting week 17 of HIM on 8/4/2014

  • Yes...or you could do 2x long run (thurs and sun). Think 2x12 mi or 2x14 mi, etc, at least until you are past Big G. You don't need 2x weekend bikes after your IM training..,what say you?

    sorry for the late response, it doesn't show up that you responded like FB or email, so i haven't checked. so i will do 14 miles on thursdays and sundays.
