Week 14 (Week of 8/11) - Augusta 70.3
This is a big week! The official RR#1. We have been a little quiet on the set - let's hear from everyone this week.
I am at a leadership retreat in OR until Fri night, so I will personally be offline until then.
I did my RR#1 yesterday - looking forward to seeing those reports next weekend
I will post an update on the lunch spot on Monday, August 18th
Thanks everyone!

My impression was that it's "not so flat" as some have told me.
There are several climbs of significance, and I had to drop to the granny gear once or twice, but it wasn't bad for Georgia.
I rode with a friend for part of the ride, so it was 20% "century ride" pace and 80% workout ride.
The corrected elevation gain for the ride was 1,853.
Most of the road surfaces are in good condition and smooth, but there is a stretch on the first half that is very bumpy and irritating.
It lasts for maybe 2 miles.
I also ran part of the run course, down Broad Street, which is the main street through town where we'll be doing four passes.
Very cool street with lots of old stores and unique restaurants and I understand the atmosphere there is fantastic on race day.
Have your family and friends camp out on the median of Broad Street to see you four times during the run.
The run is completely flat, as far as I can tell.
They made a cool little video of the event - even with some drone footage

I will be doing an OWS race rehearsal at Mary Alice Park (Lake Lanier, Cumming, GA) this Friday at 7:30am
If any of you are local to Atlanta and can swing a morning swim that day, please join us.
I will be swimming with a few local triathlon friends - the more the merrier (and safer)

I ran for an hour and then rode next for 56 miles. Took me 3:10 to complete.
I used 3 bottles of Perform (mixed in my own bottles) and two Gu Roctane gels.
I did not have any gut issues or bonking, so I think my fueling is good.
How did everyone else do?
