RR week

Hey guys, I have a question for ya. I have RR (camp) week this week and I"m on week 15 of 20 in advanced IM plan. Due to other commitments I can't do a Friday workout. So was thinking of doing Thursday typical long run, Sat typical RR and then Sunday another 112 on bike. What's your thoughts? Basically it is the old RR week with added 112 on Sunday.

  • I just had lots of injury's this year so its been rough going. Im doing Maryland by default because it was last race I could transfer too. I feel good though and ready to race, I've hit most of my big workouts. Not really as strong as I'd like to be so I don't really have any goals this race which is new for me. Just need to make it though 2 more weeks of training and then on the down stretch.
    --Most importantly we just added another family member in beginning of the year (Girl) so although training has not been all that good, life is great image
  • Great perspective. :) we love girls here!!! I think that you will be ok, you just have to be really smart about your pacing. MD can get really HOT and so good fluids and cooling strategies combined with EN pacing can help you crush it!
