Bike zones.

Hey there Coach!

I am in week 2 of the Half marathon balanced training program and I haven't done a "bike test" yet to get my zones, but I am supposed to be biking in Zone 4 on Wednesdays. Can you let me know if I should just use my HR zones from my run test?

  • Sorry to jump on thread if you really need Coach, but since you've had 13 views and no answers.....

    How about just do a bike test? Then you will have the answers you need. If all you have is run zones, you can use that, but it is better to have real bike numbers It only takes an hour. Instead of doing whatever workout is prescribed, do a test instead.

  • Thanks! Yeah figured I'd need the bike test so until I do that I'm sticking with run zones. It's a half marathon that I'm training for right now so not too concerned with it until I get into triathlon training season!
