From IM to MCMarathon...how to transition?

Hi Coach!

Now that IMMT is in the past and I'm back home, I'm thinking ahead to my final milestone of 2014...MCM on Oct 26th. Aside from a few blisters, I'm doing well with little to no soreness. Would love some guidance on how to ease back into running so that I can be successful in Oct. Goal is to BQ. Thanks!

    Congrats on IMMT! Please:

    • Load up the Post IM Transition Plan, setting it to end 4wks out, so that this week is wk1 of the plan. Follow this for 2-3wks, depending on how you feel.
    • Then load up the Marathon Plan to end on your race. 
    • At that time, you may want to reach out to Patrick in the Marathon Forum for specific guidance on modifying that plan, if you need to, given that you're transitioning from an IM and into the final weeks of a his marathon plan.
