Favorite uses for Nutella
This thread had to happen. I don't allow Nutella in the house at home because I'll eat it constantly until the container is empty. However, I'm allowed it when ever I want when traveling. I have recently discovered Nutella and banana crepes. It is also amazing on apples (that was before it was banned at the house).
What are your favorite uses for Nutella excluding straight out of the container?

I have yet to try this but there is a restaurant here in Chicago that serves banana/nutella milk shakes. Yum!
I have Amazon Prime (unlimited 'free' 2nd day shipping) so I subscribe to many items that are periodically bulk shipped to my house for maximum savings. As part of that, I think I get 6 jars of nutella every 2 months, and so far it's worked out that I don't usually have a whole lot left by the time the next shipment drops. Keep in mind I'm single, so it looks like it's just me going through about 3 jars a month. I eat it mostly for breakfast on bagels or toast, but I also do PB&N sandwhiches, or just about on anything as others have mentioned. The copious amounts of PB and Nutella I eat don't seem to stop the near endless stream of commentary I receive about being too thin, so for now I have every intention to keep livin' the dream (as long as 'the dream' involves nutella).
Nutella and blueberry bagels......mmmmm!!!
is this a trick question? I thought it went with everything.
give us your "professional" opinion on Nutella please. I love the stuff on nearly everything but meat...yet haven't tried it either so who am I to judge.

I try to keep the stuff out of the house but we always end up with the huge double pack from Costco.
I like it on brussel sprouts!
Peter & Nemo: Basically, hazelnuts and chocolate blended up like peanut butter. It does include soy and dairy as well, so it is runnier than peanut butter.
I think I may try making some of my own at home - roast some hazelnuts the throw them in a food processor with some dark chocolate chips. Process until smooth. Works great for home-made peanut butter.
We have a jar in the cupboard as bought by my daughter (wicked child!!) - always thought it would go well on ice-cream, probably go hard on top, yum! having enough issues keeping away from post-Easter chocolate that amazingly is still around the house (are these kids really mine?! how can you not eat chocolate immediately?!).
I went to the Houffalize MTB world cup in Belgium last season - they were serving nutella on hot waffles............
@Penny - per 100g serving: Energy 2215kj (530kcal) - Protein: 6.8g - Carbs 56g - Fat 31g. That's on the side of my 'UK version'.
15g = 333kj/ 80kc - P 1g / C 8.4g / Fat 4.7g.
2215kj - thats a 3.5hr road ride for me approx! Apart from the fat, the rest looks pretty good doesn't it?
@Nemo - you ever tried Ferrero Roche chocolates?? Nutella is the stuff in the centre.
Oh yeah, that's the definition of a gateway drug in my house!!! I also have not yet tried PB filled Cadburry Eggs, Dark Chocolate Reeses PB Cups, or Oreo Cakesters because I just know they are all slippery slopes!!!
