Coach P Wants To Take Your Wheel To Kona (aka Requesting Zipp 808 with PT)
Folks, headed back to the Big Island for my sixth time. Still wrapping my head around what that means for me as relates to the last year as well as overall. I know that I am pretty damn lucky.
One of my biggest logistical issues is getting a rear wheel for race day. I have a front 808 equivalent from Wheelbuilder.com and usually race with a disc cover in the rear, so I am looking for a rear 808 with powertap.
I have checked out the rental services, but because of Ironman ChooChoo, I can't access the wheel until I land in Kona on Tuesday afternoon and, well, I'd like more time to get to know my rear wheel.
Is anyone out there in the EN universe inclined to share? I am happy to stalk a pro or obtain some Hawaiian paraphernalia for you...please let me know here, thanks!

I have an 808 but it's a tubular glued up with a Vittoria Corsa 23mm no PT hub but I have a Quarq Riken with 175mm crank in BB30 that I can take off my Cervelo R3. If no one has what you need exactly and if this would work for you as a last resort you are welcome to it.
I thought I saw a Quarq on your bike, so don't you just need a regular 808 rear vs PT 808?
I have a Zipp 808 rear clincher w/ PT - let me know how you want to make this happen! (Duh - if it has a PT, wouldn't it have to be a rear wheel??)
Cheers - Woody
Coach P,
I have a SRAM S80 with PT that you are more than welcome to. It will be the only time it ever gets to Kona!
