EN tri gear

I'm considering getting an EN tri top and bottom. Is the back of the tri top long enough to cover your lower back when you are in aero position? that's always my issue - i want my low back covered.  2XU makes tops that are long in back and i like them but I'd like to support (and be supported in races) EN and wear the 'colors'.

Curious how the tri shorts are - how thick/thin is the padding, any rubbing problems? etc .

All thoughts and comments are welcomed and encouraged!  Much appreciated!

  • I just bot the top and shorts. I'll let you know how mine fit...did you end up buying anything and if so, how did it fit?
  • Received my top and shorts yesterday. The top is red, the shorts are orange. Hmmm. Womens Large fits like a medium. If I had smaller boobs it might work. The XL shorts might be Large. I can pull them up, but it's not pretty.

  • I ordered a women's 2x for my chest---it said it was shipped, just waiting on it to get here.

Sounds like I'm going to end up wearing my own tri top and an EN visor.

  • Yea the fit of the tops are weird. I bought one the guys ones from another ener thinking it would fit better than the women's and it didn't work to welle either - the sizing shown made me think it would fit better but alas - nope. Glad I am not the only one hopefully by my race maybe it will fit-lol
  • They run a bit small, but mine fits fine. That said, I'm small and have a short torso. If you are longer in the torso, I would suggest considering you match it with a short like the Desoto Sports Forza that has a high waist band that you can fold down on the run : https://www.desotosport.com/product/WRTS
  • Yep. Got mine in. The girls are way too big. Especially since them bouncing is making the top ride up even more.
  • So do they cover the "peak-a-boo" spot in the back, just above the shorts?

It depends (sorry, I know that's a sucky answer).  On me, they cover that little spot and I don't have tramp stamp burn issues.  But I know other EN ladies with longer torsos and the tops don't cover the little gap.

  • Ann that's funny. Maybe I should just lose the extra weight and try them again...in a few months! Probably not though, I think I'll be returning it all. The quality isn't there either so it's not like The top will last through much training. I like the idea of a team uniform though.

  • OH, gosh, I need to order mine and now I have no idea what size to order. Can we exchange them if they come in and don't fit?
