Importing Existing data into WKO+

Switched laptops in an emergency in January and finally have had time to install WKO+ on my new laptop. I have uploaded via Garmin Express all of my workouts to Garmin Connect & via the Tapariik sync to Strava.

how, if at all, can i recover all of the workouts to WKO+?

In doing so, will there be any loss of some data that garmin, etc, doesn't track, EG how Vi is calculated?

would it be easier to upload data from Garmin to TrainingPeaks and get the paid version?

Seperate question, what is method for importing from an Edge 510 & a 910xt to get info both into WKO+ AND into Garmin Connect/ Strava?

Seperatly, i think there was a project to create an all encompassing workout log/ XL file a few months ago? was that done? if so, where does it live?

 thanks all!

Not sure if you have seen, but both Strava and TrainingPeaks can be autopopulated now based on your uploading to Garmin Connect, essentially eliminating the need for Tapariik. Strava synch. TrainingPeaks Synch.

Someone has created a web application that will loop through all of our Garmin Connect activities and pull down the related .tcx files en masse for you.  You have to enter your username / password in order to use it - if you're not comfortable with that, just change your password for an hour or two while you use the app, then change it back once you have your export. You should then be able to import all these files into WKO+.

I believe it will recalculate all of that as you will have all the data points used to calculate those values. Your mileage may vary.

TrainingPeaks now auto-imports from Garmin Connect just like Strava does. This is all I use now as I'm a mac guy in my personal life and there isn't a mac version of WKO yet. n=1 it's easier for me.
