I feel sorry for this poor lady and glad I found EN!
As seen on Facebook...
So I was scheduled for 18 miles today but I only did 15 - and walked the last mile. I was out for just under 4 hours and everything hurt. Hips, knees, feet. Please tell me it's ok to sometimes say "Enough is Enough" and call it a day. Should I have gritted out another 40-45 minutes? Or is there a point of diminishing returns? Nutrition/hydration/electrolytes were on target. I did 16 last week and it went very well - still 4+ hours. My long run next week is 10 and the week after it's 20 - then I start taper. (for IM Chatt)..........

I hope it is. Sounds like a rookie mentality.
Don, EN will show you the way! i.e. progress AND sustainability!
Perfect example of someone bringing a marathon training plan / training mentality / coach who doesn't understand Ironman training to the task of training for an Ironman.
Bless our Coach's for their wisdom and for sight to not do that to us.
