HIM Next Week

Next week should be week 10 of the IM intermediate plan - ramping up toward IMAZ. I am racing a local HIM next Sunday. I plan to do my scheduled 4 and 3 hour rides on the IM plan Saturday and Sunday and then use the intermediate HIM taper week to prepare for next week's race. 

Monday - Swim only 60 Minutes

Tuesday - Bike intervals (60 minutes)+ run 45 zone 2 / zone 3

Wednesday - Swim 60 + Run 30

Thursday - Bike 45 Easy

Friday - 30 minutes all 3 sports easy

Saturday - easy 20 minute run

Sunday - Race

  • Good plan only Sat OFF and use this week to dial in your HIM race plan such that your execution is great and you can learn from it moving forward!!
