Kryvicky's 2015 Macro

I just submitted my season race plan for 2015 to see when I need to re-engage to drop into out season - with a June 95+ mile race would I be starting OS in November?

    Hi JK,

Good to see you again! I did this for you this past weekend so please check under the Training tab above.

  • Hey Coach R! First off - go kill it at WI! I will be cheering for you from MI.

So... I bailed on 2015 due to school and essentially the same in 2016, stay for some short course racing that I am planning on in 2016 to keep me active until I gear back up for the IM in 2017.

I submitted my 2016 schedule for a roadmap, and in the mean time I am trying to figure out the best way to get back into it after taking a full year off (nearly to the day) of ANY physical activity. I am back into some running, swimming and biking but I have to be honest with you. I am devastated by the loss of my fitness.

I am reconciling that I left the sport at my all time peak in achievements - TeamUSA Motala qualified, National Athena Champ at 70.3 distance, State Athena champ in Sprint - killed every single race I competed in as a super execution ninja of awesome. And here I am today barely being able to ride 15 MpH over 10 miles, and not being able to run 1 mile without walking.

    Holy heck I fooooked up.

My priority right now is body comp (mooooooooo) and getting moving again without constantly beating myself up over where I am in fitness and (lack of ) endurance.

What do you suggest for me to do until January? I am looking for something to ease a fat, exhausted chick back into her triathlon lifestyle. Is there a beginner plan that you recommend I plug in to help me get back into habit and movement so that when the OS rolls around I am ready?
  • Thank you Coach R! I got the road map and am excited to get back into it.
