Patrick I have a quick question

I was thinking of doing Boston next year but I am thinking New Orleans 70.3 might be more fun.  your thoughts?  I've done Boston once before.  I think Marathons beat me up a bit....  and travel to NOLA is easy for me, not so to Boston

  • NOLA for sure...but why don't you tell me what your Big Hairy Audacious Goal is for 2015? That might change things....
  • You crack me up! my thought was do Lake Placid (I just signed up) and think about another IM later in the season like......Tahoe? Wales? I really would like your advice on that one.... I am thinking Wales might be the better choice.... or Wisconsin or do Louisville again.... I'm thinking Japan in 2016 but that one has some serious attraction ....

probably doing Kansas 70.3 just to meet up with girlfriends somewhere in the middle of the country..

I qualified for Chicago ITU but that will probably be my only OOT oly. I'm thinking Norseman when I turn 65. I have to do France or Switzerland sometime in the future so I can practice my French although Austria is on my bucketlist!

Your thoughts? so two halfs and two fulls and no marathons
  • Goal? Be AWA AND go to Kona image
  • oh, clarification:
the ONLY race I've signed up for so far is Lake Placid image
  • ok, I just signed up for New Orleans. Nothing more till I hear from you, Patrick. Keep me from going overboard!
  • Patricia... 2 x EACH is a big year in and of itself, forget your job, etc., and all that madness. I'd like to see you put together a solid run durability block -- not the OS this year. But first nail the other two races and then we can start putting together a plan. I'd really like to get you beyond the "I just raced last weekend I have this other epic race in two weeks but first I have to pull two 48-hour all weekend shifts, etc." image Deal?
  • thank you for your sage advice. got it image
  • you crack me up! my husband even giggled when he read your comments. help me organize my race season and plan which to do for future. thanks for being a great coach.
