Laura's Season Road Map- adjustment

 Don't hate me Coach- but I need to adjust my road map again.

As you know- I decided to bail on the marathon idea to end this season. Good call  But there have been a few new developments. 

A couple weekends ago, I did a 50 mile ride for Ride 2 Recovery. Great ride but most importantly I learned more about the group and what they do to benefit mental and physical rehabilitation for our wounded veterans and healing service men and women. I heard from a wounded veteran and a firefighter who survived 911 and was overcome with emotion. I left with a new view on the situation, and could NOT stop thinking about what else I could do.  I felt  that I was so unaware of the severity of the issues our veterans have.  So I got more information on that group and info on a few others groups like the Wounded Warrior Project that help veterans. It was clear to me that this is a very important cause needs more advocacy.  I started thinking….what more can I do?

Basically, I contacted WWP and they help me set up a page and gave me resources to get an event started. My event will be running 30 miles for my 30th birthday on March 14, 2015. My goal is to truly bring awareness to the cause. I am proud and excited to start on my journey to help this amazing cause!

But this changes my whole season plan.

I was supposed to do Nov OS then head into swim camp. Then do bike focus for 6 weeks before I started HIM plan on 3/30 leading to Quassy. How should I change my plan? Thank you in advance for your help and guidance with this.  Coach P also suggested I post this in the forum to get some ideas from the team so I'll be doing that too!
