Guide for Stuff to Do and Places to Eat
Good Morning!
My friend (and local triathlete) created this Spectator's Guide to Chattanooga - it has suggestions on places to eat, good places to watch the race from, things to do, etc for you and your entourage while you are in Chattanooga. I live here also and will be on the course. My phone number is on the EN spread sheet so if anyone has any questions or needs help with something hit me up and I'll do my best to get you squared away. Here is a link to the Spectator's Guide: http://www.papercutinteractive.com/...BbFeU10zIU
And FYI, the Walnut Street Bridge (part of your run course) on Saturday evening is hosting the annual Wine Over Water event (20th year!). The bridge itself will be open to everyone, but to sample the wines available you have to have a ticket. Here is the website for it if any family members want to get out and let their athlete have some quiet moments to prepare for the big day. http://www.wineoverwater.org/ (as a play on this there is a really cool event called Beer Over Dirt - usually in the spring).
I've lived in a lot of places (big cities mostly) and Chattanooga is one of the best small towns with big city options (but not so many that it's overwhelming) that I've found. I hope you enjoy your visit and race, and that you'll come back - the cycling and outdoor options here are endless.
Best of Luck and I'll see y'all soon! Kay
