Sunday off

Week 13 of the intermediate plan for IMAZ

 The wife and I are heading to a B&B for the weekend. I have Friday off of Work. In order to maximize SAU's, I am thinking about shifting workouts as follows:

Friday - Do the swim as planned, drop the Saturday run, do the Saturday long ride

Saturday - Do the Sunday ABP ride first thing in the morning

Sunday - Off

Thoughts or suggestions?

  • I think that works fine.  Only that it may be a rough/tiring ride if you do the Long Run on Thurs as scheduled....................That one day (Fri) between the Thurs Long run and the Sat bike gives you some much needed recovery.......

     

  • Good call and great input from Shaughn. If you do Thursday and Friday as we outlined, then I would probably just keep Saturday pretty short either an easy hour and a half ride or as close to ABP as you can. If you took the day off though too, earn extra points, that's fine by me. You'll simply be stronger the next week. :-)
