tired

I'm new here, and one of the reasons I joined EN was to get the ROI for what time I have for training. Not just ROI in time, but ROI in money too image

I need some advice..

Lately I've been tired a lot. Not sleepy just wore out. I have made a lot of changes..

Nutritionist helping my diet is probably the biggest. I will bring this up to her as well but..

Could I be overtraining? I haven't got my new EN approved training schedule yet.. I don't feel like I have been overtraining but i used to get up at 4am ready to go, now i dont get out until at least 5:30.. Also as much as I love training, just not digging it.

The reason I am not sure I am overtraining is that when I start working out I'm fine.. Plenty of power/and energy, so maybe IM just burned out mentally trying to schedule time with spouse, 50 hour week and training? Dunnoo....

either way I'm looking forward to working with the team to help keep my training under control with the rest of my life image

  • see medical post on hypothyroidism.. not sure if you have seen your family doc for a recent checkup but I would start there. to rule out: diabetes, thryoid, anemia, celiac disease or other fatigue causing. always good to get a physical anyways and then rule that out medically if everything checks out okay....Stress also brings on fatigue so after medically ruling out fatigue then look at Life Stress Score to see if that is interfering with training.. then look at sleep patterns and finally since you haven't started EN training then no way to know what training/races you have been doing in the past to know if you have been overtraining... but definitely the co pay at doc's is good investment! welcome to EN.. m
