Kansas 70.3 Date???

I'm starting to think about my 2015 race calendar a bit...and I see that one of my old standbys, the Kansas 70.3, does not have a date.  It has been the second weekend in June most of the time, as far as I know.

Does anyone know what's up with this and/or when the race is likely to be?

Rumor here in St. Louis is that it is moving to St. Louis, date still unknown.

Interesting. Nothing against St. Louis, but that would suck...at least for me :-)

3 hours more drive, and I really liked the course pretty well. (I assume you've done it...don't recall for sure...but I liked the reasonably challenging bike and the totally in-park run for fan support)

That said, the weather has been very dodgy at times. Is St. Louis sufficiently different on that front that the race would be more stable? Or is the rumor that it's just to get it to a bigger population base?

Word is that they want to get closer to a large population base. Not sure where they would put it yet. We have a club meeting this week and there may be more info...

Interesting. It is such a well-run race and a great course. I don't know why they'd move it. Registration was never gang-busters good but they typically got a pretty good complement of 1700+ folks.
