IMAZ Child Care Recommendations

My wife and two young daughters (2 and 4 years old) are travelling with me to IMAZ.  My wife is going to shoulder the load since I'll be preparing for the race, doing the race, and in a zombie state after the event.  I'd like to give her some breaks and also have a date night.  I am trying to preserve SAUs. image

Can anyone local to Tempe recommend bonded babysitting services?  Thanks in advance for your help!

  • The Best Western on Scottsdale Rd is pet friendly. I just take my kid out to pee and then leave him in the room with a bowl of water for a few hours and he's fine. I have to disable to the pay per view movies though...
  • Funny! I'll have to suggest that to my wife. image
  • On a serious note, there are some agencies. I had to hire them for childmcare during my kids bar and bat mitzvahs (so adults could enjoy the service). I will get research and get back to you
  • Awesome! Thanks, Betsy!
  • My sister lives there and had a 13 y.o that might be able to babysit. If you can provide my details, I can ask her.
  • Sorry to take so long to get back to you with this list.  I used Lullaby Guild at my kids' Bar/bat mitzvahs.    This list is the recommendations the concierge gives JW Marriott guests.

I also have a local good friend whose 22 yo daughter just moved home after graduating Penn State with a Bachelors in  early child development and works for an autism agency.  She said she could be available some that weekend as well if you are interested in that route (not bonded, but i know where she and her mother live!).

    Hope this is helpful

  • Thanks you so much, Betsy!  Best race captain ever!

I look forward to meeting you!
