Macro de Scott-o!
Just finished my last tri of 2014 yest, an Olympic, out here in Dallas area (2:47 incl an atrocious swim!).
My idea is to do a run focus through Dallas (aka "White Rock") Half Marathon on 12/14. I want a new HM PR dammit!
Then my focus will be Puerto Rico 70.3 on March 15, 2015, where I don't want to drown (have never done a HIM or longer w/o a wetsuit) or melt in the heat and humidity of the island.
I'll still be doing long rides on Saturday (50+ miles) as part of my coaching gig out here in DFW, through March. I don't want to lose my bike fitness, but realize I might need to dial it down during the run focus.
What plans do you suggest?

Recommend you do the half marathon plan through your race in December, than some weeks of the Get Faster plan, then drop into about the last 8-10wks of the HIM plan.
I have these events remaining for the year:
-sprint tri on 6/28
-sprint tri on 8/2
-8 mile bike time trial on 8/7
-3-event weekend (13 mile MTB race on fri 8/27, 100 mile ride on sat 8/28, half marathon on sun 8/29)
-10-day vacation in early sept (lots of hiking in Peru)
-sprint tri on 9/20
-Olympic tri on 10/18
-Austin 70.3 on 11/8 ("A" race)
I just switched to the Get Faster Advanced plan, ending with my sprint tri on 6/28.
I REALLY want to run a sub-2 at Austin 70.3, while maintaining great bike shape. What else do I need to do?
Hey Scott,
Please submit this to me via the Triathlon Season RoadMap tool, under the Training tab above, so I can plan this out for you more formally.
