Alternatives to Infinit

Hello folks.

Looking for options to Infinit.  Normally I do a very simple blend (no aminos, no protein).  I'm looking for some options (mostly to see if there is any new products on the market).

I have tried CarboPro (gives me headaches), Perpetuem and Gatorade before settling on Infinit.

Thank you.

  • If you want to experiment with being able to eat more real food, then you can look at Scratch labs. It definitely doesn't have the calories of the other drinks, but I found that it is easy on the stomach and goes well with rice cakes.
  • I love Scratch Labs!!!! Lemon and Lime is my preferred. Scratch does not contain maltodextrin and is one of the cleanest products I've come across, and I have had no GI issues! I feel so confident in the company that I have my 14 year old daughter use it for her pre and post XC runs.

    Keep us posted.

I love everything about the Skratch products but the lack of calories makes it a total no-go for me.  I'm just not going to fuss with carrying around a bunch of other stuff for calories.

I'll be switching from Perform to Gatorade Endurance for next season since that's what will be the on course drink at WTC events.

  • I have used Infinit for two years. I like the product, but I have had GI issues in my last three IMs and my last HIM. I plan to experiment with Skratch and food to see how it works.
  • I used Skratch labs in a very hot full Vineman this year and did great. It's my go-to drink. I did make and eat rice muffins on the bike and I did Clif shots on the run with a couple of gels thrown in for good measure. I also did Osmo pre-workout hydration mix the night before and the morning of as well.
