Where to stay for CdA

Hi guys,

 I'm doing Coeur d'Alene in June and looking for lodging recommendations.   Couer d'Alene Resort seems like the best location, but it is booked up.  Any other good suggestions?

    Rachel- any of the hotels up near I-90 are good and close enough to get tp the race within minutes. Post Falls is also close enough. We stayed in Hayden in 2011 and it was an easy drive up Government Way (15 minutes). Trying to stay right at the venue is going to be tough.

    I've done it ten times, stayed maybe five different places. My favorite was the Sherman Ave Shilo Inn/Suites (actually the favorite of my wife, who found it an easy home base for race day.) It's along the run course, in a more shaded and less commercial part of town then the motels near the freeway. Also, the Roosevelt Inn was the better of two B&Bs I stayed at. It's within walking distance to the main venue.

    Resort City Inn pretty reasonable   great location.
