Gunnar's Macro RoadMap

Thanks for setting my macro plan!

The plan calls for uploading intermediate OS.  In the planning tool there is the 2014OS and 2015OS, and 2015OS says "draft don't use".

Am I supposed to upload 2014 version?

  • Just sit tight for now. We are working on the '15 plans now, which will replace the '14 and is why I labeled them as "do not use," because they aren't ready yet

    I have some questions on my macro plan/season plan.
    Currently I am supposed to start short course plan and then switch to half program in late June.

    I entered the NY marathon (early November). I suspect this doesn't change anything -- my marathon goal is moderate (finish < 4hrs).

    My current fitness isn't great - just did a half marathon in 1:49 vs. my best of 1:38, but getting back into it.

    1) So wanted to check that the marathon goal wouldn't lead to any change in plan at this point' it's possible you want me to run more?

    2) Also I wanted to underdressed better the idea of doing short course now and half program later, vs. getting right into the half program. it makes sense given I am doing NYC Oly, but the Atlantic City Half is my "A" race, so I was just wondering...

If you've been following your TSR here, you're more fit right now than the early weeks of the HIM plan assume you to be. Therefore those weeks of the Short Course plan are a better fit for your fitness vs having you start the very early weeks of the HIM plan.
