LaNae Nix - First Micro Thread

Hi Coach Patrick,

Great getting to meet you today!  Just wanted to follow up on our chat and get in the habit of posting on here.  I'd also like to get your thoughts.   Tomorrow I'll be running at 10K and then jumping on a plane to London for a week on business.  I'd like to keep up on my training while I'm out there and have access to a small hotel gym and a park in the area.  Any advice on training for next week? Short runs every morning / sprints / longer runs?

Thanks! LaNae

  • London - so jealous! I think this is the best time of year to go, FYI. When you are traveling, we generally recommend consistency over any flash. I would look for a 30 to 45 minutes study run each day, with maybe one session of intervals – you could look at the interval workout for your week next week and do that. Remember to give yourself time to rest when you return.
