I had a SUPER huge case of the burn outs this year and essentially quit training right before Nationals... in June. So, my running has gone all down hill, in fact I only JUST got to the gym for my test yesterday and could barely eek out a mile. Scheisse!
The numbers are far from fab, but it is where I am at. Starting week #2 on the right foot and trying to not freak out over what I lost and instead focus on all that I have to gain. I refuse to live life looking through a rear view mirror, instead I plan on enjoying the journey ahead of me, even if I am starting back from before I did 2 years ago.
HI All, i did not test last week but I did all of the runs based off of feel. With a few pounds to lose and no serious running for a while, I want to take it easy for a few weeks with running before I try to crush myself. The brick on Saturday felt surprisingly good... not fast, but I felt really good.
