symbols on os plan

hi can someone tell me what are the coloured diamonds on the top right hand after of each workout. there is hey green red and yellow diamond with a symbol inside.

  • Order of priority of workouts: red are most important, greens are the ones to drop first if you have to modify your training.
  • Aiden....the symbols are to signify the "importance" of each workout.  Ideally, you do them all.  But, life sometimes gets in the way or you need to back off/rest, it helps you decide which workouts to skip.  

    Red - high importance, critical to get accomplished

    Yellow - medium importance, ideal to get it done, but not as big a deal as a red workout

    Green - lower importance.

    Also, you posted this in the "micro" forum right?  The micro forum is designed for you to communicate with Coach Patrick about your weekly questions (e.g.....can't get this workout done because X; I've been sick and don't know what to do now;  I'm traveling next week....what should I do;  etc....).    Most of us try to stay out of other folks' micro and macro threads....that's where you're looking for help/advice from a coach (micro = Patrick for day to day/week-week issues and macro = Rich, for season planning, inserting a race into your season, etc.).  So, if you have a question for any or all of us in the haus to help you with or give you advice/direction, etc., just post it in the appropriate forum (general training, power/pace, race execution, nutrition, etc.).  If you click on the button for Forums, the list will pop up. Select the most appropriate one and submit your question and you'll magically get answers!
