i need help with zones
Hi i have done my run and bike test, i then put in my figures to get my zones, on my training page my bike zones are set on power which is fine, my run zones are set on pace, i cant seem to see HR zones just pace, is there some where on the site where i can see both zones for bike , power and HR and the same for run , pace and HR. As i said on training page i can only see one zone option for bike and one zone option for run. Also is there somewhere you can see your progression from test to test, when i go back into en calculators all the settings seem to be 0. and last question on run program should i be training tp HR zones or Pace zones,

Aidan, you can save either your pace zones or your HR zone. When you input your test data on the EN calculators, it will show you both pace and HR. You must chose which to save. Pace is more constant for most people. Trying to run a pace is like trying to hit power numbers on the bike. The pace zone doesn't change while your HR is variable throughout the day. If during the OS most of your runs will be on a Treadmill, HR is ok as there is no outside factors like wind and temp effecting your effort. As far as tracking it, the site does not have data tracking charts. Do you have Training Peaks? You can track your progress there. They have a huge variety of charts.
You do need to pay for all the bells and whistles of TP. I purchased the WKO+ several years ago. It was in the neighborhood of $130. It has everything I ever want for charts. HR zones on Garmin are not set out on a graph form. Training Peaks is suppose to come out with a new version of the WKO. I will probably buy that when it comes out.
