Mondays are usually a rest day for me. But since yesterday was a rest day, I think I may do a short swim this evening. I'm super tired. I went to bed last night at 8:30, and really wanted to go to sleep earlier. Woke up refreshed, but that lasted for only a few hours. A nap is in my future this afternoon, along with going to bed early once again.
ok. had to juggle my swim till after work but got it done. about 3km with a bunch of hard 25's. This morning was low cadence bike work with a high cadence run off of the bike. Done for the day! Now time to get some job related work done. My work really does suffer during these last few weeks of a build.
did a treadmill run with some incline intervals this morning. I am really starting to like the treadmill. Never thought that I would say that. The lack of other stimulus makes it easier to focus on form and body position. Gotta work a bit now then go swim. It is looking like the big day that I had planned for friday will be happening all on the trainer as it is going to be in the 30's 40's in texas. WTF???
I did my interval run yesterday, and had a quick swim this morning. Will get on the bike this evening.
That sucks about the weather! According to the news most of the country is turning into a popsicle. It's crazy that the cold is making its way that far south!
yahoo! last really long session done. 5:20 bike / 40min run. Did the entire bike on the trainer due to weather. Wow. That was TOUGH! Just seeing the couch calling to me the whole time. But I decided that this would be the session that I would hold on to when the race went through a tough patch. Now for a little rest then tomorrow 8 x 8 year old gils slumber party for my daughter's birthday. That should be a toughie also!

I was distracted today putting backup bike together and resizing, etc... ended up swapping Saturday & Sunday. 11 mile treadmill run today. Bike swim tomorrow. We are getting close!!
picked up head cold from my youngest. Survived 8yr old slumber party. long run not looking good though as I don't feel well and it is rainy and cold. bad combo. we shall see.

temps in the 30's here today! bizzare and very cold in the garage for morning trainer time. wore extra clothes and heated up just fine.
