how many repeats or amount of time on cord repeats?

Hiya Rich!  I'm unclear regarding minutes or number of repeats for cordz.  I looked at the videos and read info but did not see this info there.

Many thanks! for the assist!

I leave that up to each athlete to determine. I can tell you that the 2nd and 3rd sets will sneak up on you so no need to kill yourself on the first set.

  • ok, thanks.  so I assume each set has 20 repeats on each exercise?

I hope you had a great thanksgiving!  thanks for the assist.

by the way a new event got added.  I entered lottery for escape from Alcatraz and got a spot.  who'd have thought?  date is June 7th

Could be 10 repeats, could be 30 repeats. People are all over the place with regards to their upper body strength which is why I didn't formally prescribe the number of repeats for this plan. Sorry, but you'll have to self-administer these

Congrats on getting into Alcatraz! If you need me to rework your TSR, just submit a new one and I'll get that done for you.

  • okay.  I will add that race and resubmit

on the repeats, here is how I resolved my question.

I added in a couple of items to help with my lack of strength in lats and muscles needed for swim (side planks) and do 10 repeats of each....  I added some rehab stuff due to lack of strength in my lateral leg muscles.  I think 10 repeats are just fine for me.  the front planks and pushups I do about 15 and try to focus on form.  I do a lot of yoga o my form is a little off in spite of strength.

question:  I want to do the camp at Lake Placid.  I get back from Alcatraz on the 8th.  Is this practical for me to consider?

That's fine. Again, this is meant to be a guide, as it would be very difficult for us to make a one-size-fits-all resource.

question:  I want to do the camp at Lake Placid.  I get back from Alcatraz on the 8th.  Is this practical for me to consider? From a training perspective, yes. However, I imagine the travel would be complicated? I think you live in TX, correct?

  • yes, I'm in Texas.... I can pack my bike and take it with me....for both trips....
I'm thinking I'll be home on the 8th, I won't unpack bike, and I'll hop on plane to new york....

I bought a Scicon soft bag so other than anxiety of the soft case, it is easy to travel with. I have a hard case too....
