well folks, I hope that everyone is recovering. Honestly, the travel trip home might have been as tough as the race. Thanks for the community and the support. I know that I saw a couple of you out there and it helps for sure.

I can finally walk down stairs today... but my quads are still swollen and very sore.

might be one toenail short in a few days but other than a bad looking set of cankles Im ok. Not interested in running mind you, but ok.
Still a little foggy at work though. Honestly, navagating the cozumel airport with my bike and my kids was almost as tough as the race.

Just got back home late last night. Feeling decent. The day didn't go quite as planned, but glad to have finished. Thanks to everyone for the support and community. It was great seeing a few of you out there on the course -- it definitely lifted my spirits :-)
