Toughman Wisconsin (Formerlly High Cliff Triathlon))

Anyone raced or racing this one?  I'm trying to do a different half each year.  My first one was Rev. 3 Wisconsin Dells 2012,  then Door County in 2013, and this year Ironman Racine 70.3.  I think I am running out of halfs in Wisconsin.   I will likely do this (only 100 dollars) before heading to Europe to celebrate our 25th marriage anniversary.   Then it will be shifting focus to Ironman Louisville.

I know people who spoke highly of the High Cliff race. I've never done it personally be these were people who I respect in the endurance sports scene.

Stephan - I haven't done it either but am thinking about it. And, will definitely be doing the Door County half as well - my favorite race!

I love the door county race too.  I'm bummed that Rev 3 Dells doesn't seem to be coming back.  I wanted to do that one and crush my record there.  Oh well.  I've heard good things about the High Cliff race, so will likely be doing it this year.  Would be good to see others there.

I haven't raced High Cliffs, but like Matt A & Stephan B, I've heard good things about it from experienced racers.

Yes! I am doing this in June and it will be my first 70.3

Great Nicky.  we will have to say hello to one another there.  I wish you well.  My first was Wisconsin Dells Rev3.  I will always remember that one. It was really fun.  Hope your experience will be fun. I've heard great things about this one.

A Change in plans for me:  I've cancelled my reservation for Toughman Wisconsin because i can't make it work logistically.  Instead, I'm now signed up for Toughman Minnesota (formerly Chisago Lakes) July 26th.   Will have to do the Half Cliff another time.  Maybe next year.
