Joe Hallatschek - NOV OS (Wks #7 to9)
RnP – got my Holiday schedule worked out, did my initial planning,
watched OS Videos for weeks #7&8 and I have three weeks that I would like
your opinion on before I go “final” with the pencil. Details - I am at my
daughter’s home during week #8 and the only workout venue possible is a High
School track. For week #9, I am at my in-laws and I will have access to a pool
(maybe) and can run in the neighborhood. At the end of the week #9, stay with friends
and no workout is possible. Both weeks – no bike. So, here is my plan and any comments are welcome:
Week #7:
Monday – no change
Tuesday – rest
Wednesday – run test (same course as test #1)
Thursday – Sunday, rest of week #7 as scheduled
Week #8
Monday – bike test (then fly to North Carolina)
Tuesday – walk, strength workout, recon track
Wednesday – do week #7 run workout
Thursday – do the week #7 run workout
Friday - walk, strength workout
Saturday – do the week #8 Sunday run workout
Sunday – fly to Mississippi
Week #9
Monday – run 50-60’ LTHR (course I run there to benchmark fitness for last 32 yrs)
Tuesday – swim, walk, strength workout
Wednesday – run 50-60’ LTHR
Thursday (Christmas) - walk, strength workout
Friday - run 50-60’ LTHR , travel to Meridian, MS
Saturday – walk, strength workout
Sunday – fly home to Texas, get in a bike workout if
possible
Thanks for your time!
Joe
